Batomon Showdown Endless Mode: How to Unlock Extended Mode
The endless mode is called Extended Mode. It stays hidden in Settings until you finish a 10-win run, and the run caps at day 40. Here is how to turn it on.

The endless mode in Batomon Showdown is called Extended Mode, and “endless mode” means the same thing. It never appears as a normal option on the main menu, which is why plenty of players assume the feature does not exist. You have to switch Extended Mode on in Settings first, then pick continue on a later 10-win summary to carry that team into a continuation run.
That run ends at day 40 at the latest, or earlier if your lives run out.
Why the menu has no endless mode
Extended Mode has two prerequisites.
You have to finish a 10-win run first. Before that, the switch does not appear in Settings at all.
Then, turning the switch on does not start anything by itself. It only decides whether a later 10-win summary offers you the continue option. It does not convert your next run into an endless run.
The two most common questions in the community map exactly onto those two steps: “there is no such option in my settings” and “I turned it on but I cannot find the continue button”. For the first, check whether you have completed a 10-win run. For the second, check whether the switch was already on before the run you just finished.
Turning it on, step by step
- Finish a 10-win run in Casual or Ranked.
- Go back to the main menu, open Settings, and turn on Extended Mode.
- Win another 10-win run.
- On that run’s summary screen, choose continue (Extended).
- Keep the team and push on until day 40 or until your lives run out.
Check your life count before you commit, by the way: the continuation does not hand you a fresh 10 lives. It carries over what you had left.
How an Extended run differs
| Normal run | Extended run | |
|---|---|---|
| End condition | 10 wins or lives exhausted | Day 40 or lives exhausted |
| Opponent pool | Normal boards only | Can draw both normal and Extended boards |
| Mythical and hard-counter exclusions | Applied | Not applied |
| Pre-battle softening | Casual and low ranks soften the opponent board | No softening |
| Scoring | Scored normally under ranked rules | The original 10-win result is scored first; the continuation adds no second rank or MMR change |
“Softening” is the system trimming an opponent’s permanent buffs or removing levels and trinkets in Casual and lower ranks. Once you are in Extended, that protection is gone and the boards get noticeably harder.
Scoring
If you came in from Ranked, your original 10-win result is scored before you choose to continue.
The continuation days add no second rank or MMR change, and they do not count towards completed games or trainer completion.
So the worry that an endless run will wreck your rank is unfounded. The reverse is also true: a strong Extended run earns you nothing extra on the ladder.
Common misunderstandings
Endless mode does not need a separate download. It lives in the settings of the same client, and there is no standalone endless build.
It also is not actually endless. It has a hard ceiling at day 40, or sooner if you run out of lives first.
And turning the switch on does not make every run extended. It only affects whether you can choose to continue after a 10-win run.
