Batomon Showdown Mythical Batomon: What They Are and How to Get One
Mythical sits above Legendary and never appears in the normal shop. Here is the developer wording behind that, how players reach one, and the matching rules.

Mythical is the tier above Legendary in Batomon Showdown, and you will not find one by rerolling the shop. The developer spelled the design out in the 11 June 2026 update: Mythical Batomon are encountered through special trainers, trinkets and events.
The clearest route is the Gamer trainer, who hands you a Mythical and $30 on day 9. Everything else runs through mythical trinkets and the events tied to them.
Why they are kept out of the shop
Keeping Mythical out of the shop is stated intent. Matchmaking backs it up.
In a normal, non-Extended run, a board holding a Mythical is withheld from the matchmaking pool unless you are playing ranked at Master. On top of that, when a candidate you are matched against holds a Mythical you have not encountered yet, the game will try up to two alternative candidates first.
Together, those two rules mean you will not stumble into a Mythical by accident in an ordinary run. You have to build one.
The routes that reach a Mythical
Play Gamer. It is the only trainer officially tied to Mythical in an announcement: a Mythical plus $30 on day 9. The cost is spending the first eight days with one fewer trainer helping you.
Mythical trinkets. A trinket class added alongside Mythical. The Mythical Batomon added in 0.8.0 has an ability that makes mythical items appear in your shop, and it buffs your allies the more of them you use.
Related events and egg items. Mythical Batomon and mythical trinkets show up in the output of special events and egg items. The full list has never been published.
The Batopedia ”???” tab. 1.0.0 added this tab specifically for event Batomon and Mythicals. It is where you confirm whether the thing you are looking at is actually Mythical.
What mythical trinkets do
Mythical trinkets are their own class. What separates them from ordinary trinkets is the gate, not the function: they sit in your trinket bag and feed into the same stacking maths.
The Mythical Batomon added in 0.8.0 wires the two together. Its ability makes mythical items appear in your shop and buffs your allies the more of them you use, which means once you have it you want to keep taking mythical trinkets rather than treating them as one-shot items.
Confirming which one you are looking at
After 1.0.0, right-clicking any Batomon in the shop, in battle, on an event screen or inside the Batopedia opens an inspect sheet with full stats, the ability and the evolution chain. Mythicals and event Batomon live in the Batopedia ”???” tab.
That panel is more reliable than any screenshot. Stat charts on the internet are usually photographed on an older build, and the panel reads the values from your current run.
What the community makes of it
Player opinion splits sharply, and the argument centres on long runs.
A common complaint in the community (from player discussion, not an official statement): late in an Extended run, the game turns into a race to grab the trainer or trinket that produces Mythicals, after which cooldowns collapse and the numbers become absurd. Some players say outright that they would rather the tier did not exist.
The other side has a case too: breaking the game open is part of the appeal, and the fix is a stacking cap rather than deleting the tier.
Whichever side you take, one thing is worth remembering: Mythicals are a long-run reward, not a beginner requirement. A 10-win run does not need one.
