Batomon Showdown FAQ
The questions players ask most about release, platforms, price and how a run works, each answered from an official source.
What kind of game is Batomon Showdown?
It is a creature-collecting asynchronous PvP auto battler. You spend gold in an untimed shop on Batomon, items and trinkets, field up to six of them, and let the battle resolve against another player's saved board from the same day. A run ends at 10 wins.
Read the beginner guideWhen did it release, and how much does it cost?
It released on 15 September 2026 on Steam and Google Play at the same time. The Steam price is $14.99, discounted 35% to $9.74 until 29 September 2026.
See price and editionsCan you play it on a phone or a console?
Android is live on Google Play and shares the same account and save as the PC version. iOS is still waiting on App Store approval with no date. There is no PlayStation, Xbox or Switch listing.
See platform statusIs there still a free demo?
No. The demo came down with Season 0 on 14 September 2026, and the old store link now redirects to the Steam homepage. The only current routes are the paid Steam or Google Play versions.
See download and installWhere is the endless mode?
It is called Extended Mode in game. You need one completed 10-win run, then enable it in Settings, then pick continue on a later 10-win summary. The continuation ends at day 40 or when your lives run out.
Read the Extended Mode pageHow do you get a level 4 Batomon, and what does Shiny change?
Normal merging is three level 1 copies into level 2 and two level 2 copies into level 3, and it stops there. Level 4 only comes from special effects such as events and upgrade items. Shiny variants use their own stat and ability values rather than one universal multiplier.
Read the progression pageDo ranks reset, and what happened to Season 0 rewards?
Ranked now runs in seasons, and a season ends with a hard reset to Bronze 8. Season 0 granted two badge case skins, one for Gold and one for Master, handed out at the start of Season 1.
Read the ranked rulesAre older guides still accurate?
It depends on when they were written. Cooldown effects were unified into Cooldown Speed, poison stopped ignoring shield, shield's status damage reduction dropped to 15%, and the low-shop-rank buff farming route was removed. Any of those can invalidate a guide written earlier in 2026.
